"Midnight-Action" in the Temples of Humankind

"Build" your own piece of a great dream. Wait for the stroke of midnight in the Temples of Humankind together with the people of Damanhur, and add your own signature to a story that persists in time. Following to our annual tradition, the Temples of Humankind open its halls to everyone who wishes to participate in its creation. Assisted by Damanhurians, guests will participate in various activities immersed in the vitality of the Temples.

A Meditative-Action to transform reality, inside and outside of ourselves, and to actively participate in changing the planet.

At midnight, the celebration of the Winter Cornucopia shall take place in the Hall of Earth, as a ritual of gratitude for the events of 2012 and propitiation for 2013.

Ritual of the Cornucopia

The ritual of the Cornucopia takes place on Damanhurian New Year’s Eve during Midnight Action in the Temples of Humankind (Winter Cornucopia) and at the solar New Year (Summer Cornucopia). It is an opportunity to give thanks for the events of the previous year and to create the conditions for spiritual experiences and practices in the coming year for Damanhur and all the participants.

Most of the restaurants and shopping centers of Damanhur are about 2 to 10 kilometers from the central area, so it is very helpful to have a car.

Please bring comfortable clothes and gloves.
